How Halcyon Gears came to be
Halcyon Gears began as a single bench in a Bangkok shophouse, set up by a watchmaker who preferred slow, deliberate work over quick turnaround. Over the years, the bench grew into a small workshop, but the pace stayed the same — one watch at a time, examined closely before anything is touched.
Many of the watches that arrive here have some history: a grandfather's dress watch, a diver bought decades ago, a hand-wound piece left in a drawer too long. We treat each one as something worth understanding first, and repairing second.
Our aim is simple — to give honest assessments, take the time a movement actually needs, and hand a watch back running the way it should, without pretending to promise more than careful work allows.
